Original Antique U.S. Marked Model M1835/1842 Socket Bayonet Fine Condition.Original M1835/M1842 Smoothbore Springfield bayonet with dark metal patina over most of the length with crisp U.S. Stamp and has an intact missing locking ring. Overall length is 20-5/8″, blade length is 17-5/8″. This is the standard bayonet for the M1835, 1840 and 1842 musket. Please look at all the pictures, Thanks for looking!
