Identical obverse and reverse etchings [floral patterns above and below military trophies. Markings and etchings exhibit light wear. Semi-bright plume color blade displays patches of light pitting & a few very minor dings. Gilt hilt assembly symmetrical and reasonably tight. Brilliant patina with excellent fish-skin grip & brass-twist wrap. Flexible counterguard latch works perfect. This model was produced till the 1890s.In all, superb display piece.
