Beautifully and deeply etched blade bright , frosty and beautiful with C. Roby on one side of the ricasso. It has scroll work, foliate, Flags large stand of arms Eagle Motif and a bold US . The reverse has a decor scroll work and a large intertwined "U.S.” and a stand of arms with a shield. The pommel cap the US shield engraved. The leather scabbard has brass mounts top one is maker marked C. Roby and drag is in good condition. This is a prize and will be a big add to a collection.
